Bittered and dry-hopped with El Dorado and whirlpooled with Citra. Skylab is the juicier, citrus cousin to the West Coast IPA. It pours clear and golden with an aroma of ripe pineapple, flavors of peachos and canteloupe, and finishes with a mellow bitterness. Skylab was the first United States space station, launched by NASA, occupied between May 1973 - February 1974. It was operated by three separate crews: Skylab 2, 3, and 4. Major operations included a solar observatory, Earth observation, and hundreds of experiments. Unable to be re-boosted by the Space Shuttle, which was not ready until 1981, Skylab's orbit decayed and it disintegrated in the atmosphere on 7/11/79.

Taps clear amber with a decent parchment head. Aroma delivers subtle resiny hops and citrus. Flavor gives rich piney hops, zesty 9range and grapefruit with a little mango, crisp fresh malt. Texture presents firm, smooth body and lively fizz. The sky (lab) is the limit.
