Not a clue where i had this, Hay Merchant i think .. . Pours a deep gold .. good foam, lacing is quite good .. . crisp .. sweet pine, sap, and reduced sugar .. . i liked it .. . .
On the chest of a barmaid from Sale,
Was tattooed all the prices of ale.
    Whilst on her behind,
For the sake of the blind,
Was precisely the same, but in Braille

I probably would have scored this one a little higher if i would have tried this one before the 'regular' Magama (which I really enjoyed). Aromas of citrus hops, sweet caramel malts and a slight yeasty funk. As with the magma the sweet caramel malts were the prominent feature of the taste with the citrus hops on the backside, a slightly bitter finish with a touch of yeast coming through. Like the Magma the alcohol was hidden well, and the mouthfeel was a little sticky but smooth, overall a nice beer thats worth a try.
