A new discovery from the Troegs Brewery near Harrisburg, PA. Went to Fatheads in Pittsburgh, and found this one on the keg menu. Beer Union Brown has a small off white head coming off of the tap that leaves about a 1/2 inch of lacing around the rim. It has a very nice deep thick brown color to the body. Aromas of chocolate are most prevalent, with very velvety smooth tastes of dark malt chocolate, and a hint of spice (ginger?). The finish is very mild and not dry. I think this one might even beat Brooklyn Brown as my favorite brown ale. Heaven in a glass, without question.
