About a hundred and fifty years ago a new style of beer, the granddaddy of clear pale lagers, arose in the Bohemian town of Pilsen. To get that authentic Old World taste, we use genuine Saaz hops imported from the Czech Republic.

11.??.04 Sample, Princeton. Pale gold color, not much white head. Light aromas, saazy, fresh grain. Flavor is richer than most pils, the flavor is in line with citrus zest, more grass, wet grain. Drinks fuller than expected. Not bad for a BP pils.

Triumph Bohemian Pilsner poured a deep golden colored body with a small head that left minor lacing. The taste was crisp and refreshing with a cross between hops and a slight citrus. Decent pilsner.
