Charity Island has the bold assertive hop characteristics of an American IPA. Brewed with 100% barley malt, the five hop additions give an aroma with a rich citrus, floral, and resinous bouquet. The crisp hoppy flavor is in perfect harmony with the malt backbone with a refreshing, clean and dry finish.

pours a copper color with a freak'n huge off white head, that hangs around for quite some time and leaves some lace. The aroma has a hint of floral aroma with a little grapefruit citrus...not much aroma to speak of compared to most IPA's. The taste is balanced, definitely not a hop-bomb...flavors are subtle, the biggest flavor comes on the finish with some bitterness that you'd expect in an IPA. The mouth feel is medium bodied with high carbonation.
