Our darkest year round beer however, looks can be deceiving. Dunkel features notes of chocolate with a full malt back bone. Contrary to its dark color, this beer finishes crisp and clean with a round hop flavor.

Pours translucent mahogany with a thick beige head. Aroma features roast malt and woody hops. Flavor presents roast malt, woody hops and a clove ubderpinning. Texture delivers fair body and peppy fizz. It's a Trapp!

Enjoyed on Easter 2017 weekend at the brewery. Pours a clean copper colour with a frothy beige head, good retention with some creamy lace. Nutty and coffee notes in the aromas with hints of roasted malts. Mild roasted malts, nuts and coffee again, but blended in a soft way that is kind of watery. Smooth mouthfeel texture. Not quite the fruity Dunkel I know, but a decent darker lager.
