Can from the brewery. Pours a dark brown colour with a mocha-coloured, creamy-frothy head, with good retention and creamy lacing. Vanilla cooking extract nose over the chocolate notes and roasted malt base. The taste is thankfully not sweet as the aromas give out to be. Roasted malt flavours with some nicely balanced hops. Nothing too out of this world, and the scent is different, but a decent regular stout.

355ml can from the brewpub. Pours a fairly big frothy tan head and has a dark brown appearance. Dirty lacing. Aromas of roasted barley malts, a bit of coffee and hints of cocoa. Flavours are actually quite sweet with some notes of coffee and cocoa, hints of chocolate. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Pretty good retention. Average carbonation. A good stout but seems a little bit on the watery side.
