For Batch #100, we decided to attack one of our least favourite beer styles - the "session IPA" - head on. Why you might ask? Why the hell not! Brewed with a heavy hand of crystallized malted oats and an even heavier hand of classic American hops, this ale is full of ripe apricot flavours with a backdrop of coconut and cereal. Brewed for celebration, this beer is round, fruity, and highly sessionable. Cheers!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a small frothy white head and leaves just a thin coating. Has a slightly hazy golden orangey appearance. Some decent dirty lacing remains. Aromas are floral and citrusy with some sweet malt notes. Flavours are fruity and citrusy, some subtle grassy hops. Also some cereal malt hints. A little bit of a tarty finish on the palate. Medium body. Good retention. Good sessionable IPA for the summertime.
