Pours clear mahogany with a thick and fine-bubbled light tan head that leaves generous lacing. Shy, malty aroma has notes of cloves and cinnamon and a whisper of caramel. Flavor is considerably bolder than the aroma, malty with oak, clove, caramel and cinnamon tones providing a nice background. A snip of miso pops up as well. Firm, smooth texture has decent fizz and leaves a woody finish that has cloves and cinnamon hints. No butts about it, this is a worthy beer.

This poured a copper color with a off white head. The aroma contains some vanilla, caramel, citrus, OAK, and spices. The flavor is a bitch smack of oakiness, is that a word? Kind of a cheap whiskey flavor to it. I also taste some caramel, spices, and vanilla. The oak flavors run over this beer like a pimp would his hoes if he found out they been stealing money. The palate on this beer is way to thin to try oak aging. Overall a boozy mess of a beer.

This beer reallt shines once you drink it, it does not smell much different than the regular Butt Head but once you drink it, it has a great oaky taste almost to the point of a fine scotch or whiskey without the burn,

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber with an off white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film and collar that leaves some lacing. The aroma is a little subdued - sweet caramel malts, smoke and vanilla. The flavor is kind of watery and subdued. It has some sweet malts and smoke and some pepper. As it warms, more flavor comes out. The alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation. Overall, a decent beer, but a bit pricey for what you get. I liked the smokey notes.
