OUR FLAGSHIP DRAFT Toadstool Nitro Stout is the second beer we ever brewed at Firefly Hollow. Toadstool Nitro Stout was inspired by the Nitro stouts of Ireland and the UK, but built to be slightly more robust for the modern craft beer drinker. This stout is velvety smooth with a tight and creamy nitro head. It’s dark color and gently roasty flavor come from copious use of both roasted barley and debittered black malts. ALC/VOL 5.6% HOPS CHALLENGER BITTERNESS VELVETY GRIST UK FLOOR MALTED PALE MALT, FLAKED OATS, FLAKED BARLEY, ROASTED BARLEY, & MIDNIGHT WHEAT COLOUR BLACK & GARNET YEAST WHITBREAD DRY The easy drinking nature and subtle complexity of this beer have made it an all time Firefly Hollow favorite. Cans of Toadstool Nitro Stout are packaged with a small dose of liquid nitrogen. We recommend giving the can 2-3 quick shakes before popping the tab and pouring a little more aggressively than normal. Enjoy the show as the beer cascades into the perfect pour with a creamy head. Toadstool is typically available in the fall through early spring.

Vinous nose..... Prune cocoa bread orange peel. Deep brown opaque body topped with a nice caramel colored head. Leaves typical nitro skim code on side of the glass. Sick mouth is nicely carbonated somewhat slick and mouthcoating. Flavor quite similar to Murphy's. Chocolatey malt at the forefront, bitter in the middle, with a long finish that is slightly sweet. Notes of espresso throughout and also hints of tangerine. Quite drinkable.
