Aromas of fruit, nuts, and honey precede a big, sweet malt flavor and clean, dry finish in this reddish-bronze French-style “beer for keeping.” Aged in our cellars for a full 80 days before serving to create its complex aroma and smooth out its substantial alcohol content.

Enjoyed a pint of this at Titletown: Poured a light reddish amber colour with a small white head. Light, sour fruit notes but not quite as tart as i thought it would be. Aroma is pleasent, fruity- but like i said a little soft fermented fruits. Taste is pretty smooth- light creamy and pleasent all around. I think it could use a little bulking up- not the best rep for the style.

This beer poured a dark copper color with a nice beige head. Had a very fresh malty flavor with a slightly sweet finish. Was very aromatic. I cant quite describe the aroma, was a compilation of sour malt, citrus, and roasted notes.
