Collaboration with Good Word Brewing & Public House. Long time friends, it was a matter of time before we combined our passions and energies to brew our favorite style of beer. Exploring new hop territory from South Africa, we used Southern Star and Southern Passion to make a hazy double IPA with a full body and satisfying flavor undertones of passionfruit and Guava.

Pours hazy topaz with a thick and fairly persistent parchment head. Aroma yields woody hops, tangy citrus with tropical and slight stone fruit notes, crisp fresh malt, a dank touch. Flavor provides piney and mainly woody hops that are somewhat bitter and a little dank, plus citrus, tropical and stonefruit notes, all on a crisp malt foundation. Texture offers good, smooth body and lively, lasting fizz plus a hoppy and fruity finish. Three words: Mighty damned delicious!
