Sour Asylum #9, Gose On My Mind, is our Peach State interpretation of the traditional German-style Gose. We add locally sourced peach juice from Lane Orchards in Peach County, GA for a subtle peach sweetness that balances wonderfully against the tartness from the lactobacillus and the salt character from our addition of Persian sea salt.

Taps barely transparent apricot with a fair eggshell head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is not robust but promises peach and fresh malt character. Flavor delivers tart and sweep peach, as well as malt, banana and subtle woody hop tones. Viscous body offers up plenty of fizz. Like a good sour beer, I’ve got gose on my mind.
