A Night On Ponce IPA grafts an American ale yeast onto the same malts and hops used in A Night In Brussels. The result is an entirely different beer, which announces its presence with lush notes of citrus fruit before tapering to a clean, dry finish. It’s an American IPA for lovers of American IPAs.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Be forewarned: If you get this in a growler, or maybe in a bottle, it fizzes all over the place like a bottle of champagne in the locker room of a team that just won the World Series. Pours clear amber with a thick but effervescent buff head. Aroma has resiny hop and subtle citrus tones. Hoppy flavor is only a little bitter and has nice fruity and subtle malty notes backing up the hops. Texture is fairly firm, if not too fizzy - maybe all the fizz escaped when I opened the growler and got a craft beer Old Faithful. Maybe not as good as A Night in Brussels, but a worthy brew anyway. Update: Has more fizz if you get it on draft.
