Kentucky Common was once a very popular beer style in and around Louisville, Kentucky, prior to prohibition. Our modern rendition, The Colonel, pours a dark amber colour, though is light in body. There is a touch of biscuity, malt sweetness with some caramel present and a delicate floral character from the US crystal and cluster hops, making a refreshing, easy drinking beer with a subtle, creamy finish.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Clear copper to reddish amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, toffee and cookies. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, a fruity hint of raisins, minimal hop bitterness.
