500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Beautiful deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head with good retention. Nice aroma of caramel, also mild spicy notes. The flavour is spicy and complex with notes of caramel and dark dried fruits, esp. raisins. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish, slightly sharp in the aftertaste. Overall very good - I am astonished that it is not rated higher.

A dark red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and some burnt notes, combined with light citrusy notes. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, and crystalized sugar, as well as some burnt notes of both malt and caramel, combined with lighter notes of dusty hops and some citrus, leading to a dry end. The alcohol is felt in the background.
