Brewed with Riverbend's Carolina Rye heirloom malt. Flavors build upon earthy spice, light roast and black peppercorn; and finish with bright citrus punch from Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, and a touch of Citra hops. Its deep, jet-black color comes from a cold steep of debittered Blackprinz malt.

Taps rich coffee with a thick tan head. Aroma yields roasty, woody and subtle coffee tones. Flavor provides roasty, woody hop, smoky and earthy notes plus a hint of coffee. Texture gives peppy fizz and smooth, decent body. Love them black IPAs.
