The anticipated sours from the dog appear to finally be making their appearance. This Flanders Red is the first I've seen on tap, and enjoyed a glassful at the tasting room recently. Sour tanginess right away with a funky yeast, and candy cherry influence. Light caramel and bread. Fruity with a hint of mild vinegar. Fizzy pour that falls flat after a few minutes, nice cherry colored body and some spots of lacing. Light to medium bodied and great twang. Overall I was impressed, not blown away, but thoroughly impressed at the final product. Hope to see more wilds at the taproom.
