Our wheat beer brewed in the belgian-wit tradition, including unmalted wheat and spiced with coriander and orange peel. Added complexity provided by our house belgian yeast blend after its characteristic high fermentation temperatures.

02.18.05 Clouded yellow with no head. Dull looking. Very mild all around, not at all remarkable. An unpleasant lemony character seems out of place. Looking around, it’s an unfortunately popular brew in this brewpub.

Medium gold color, cloudy, nose is slightly orange and coriander. Light bodied wheat ale, slight taste of coriander and orange as well as banana and clove. Fuller tasting than most wheat beer. Complex flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I had a sample of this at the brewery. This one was very creamy for a wheat. Had a faint fruity, citrus aroma. Cloves, coriander and orange in the flavor. Kind of hoppy for a wheat. Interesting
