very nice oatmeal stout here. quite smooth with a bitersweet roasted coffee and chocolate flavor and aroma. one of their better beers if not their best (the apa was quite good as well).

This stout pours with a dark brown to black body with red tinting topped by a thick creamy head and a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet but mostly bitter and roasty with a nice maltiness and a touch of licorice. The flavor is slightly sweet yet bitter and malty with a slight roastiness, a touch of coffee and a little licorice. Full bodied, smooth and dry.
