Tasted on tap at the 11th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/12/2011. This double IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are biscuty, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy, orange and grapefruity. Nice carbonation. Good balance. Medium bitterness. Nice biscuit malts are balanced by the citrusy, orangey hops. A very easy to drink Imperial IPA. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish in clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

advertised as having "lots" of ibus, and it did. a great beer for the hophead, and one of the standouts at the 2011 dipa fest. fresh fragrant juicy hops, and just enough malt to make it's presence known. citrus and a bit floral. medium body. rolls off the tongue.
