    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 10

750 ml capped and in a yellow wax bottle, reminding at the noble bottles of wine of Bourgogne. Poured a clear and light hazy copper-brown coloured BdG with a generous one finger light beige and dense pillowy foamy end that had a no ending retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is powerful roasted sweety malts, caramel, notes of coffee and hay. The flavour is heavy sweety roasted malts, honey, brown sugar, dried fruits, walnuts, spicy, licorice and floral hops. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick, a bit syrupy and overall very smooth. This full bodied BdG has a long and deep roasted malts finish. I wonder, what an amazing BdG ! Well flavoured and excellent balanced. Such a best kept treasure in the North of France ! I enjoy.
