Harnessing the winds of yesteryear, we’ve turned back the clock and gone a bit old school, producing a true American IPA, and by that we mean the way IPAs used to be brewed before the haze craze; brewed for balance between the hops and malts. This “bright fire” celebrates us making it through our grand opening, which happened to occur on the Summer Solstice, aka the first day of summer. Brewed with assistance from our own Sarah for the Dames & Dregs Beer Fest!

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Taps translucent caramel with a fair parchment head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma offers resiny hops, tangy citrus that is mainly orange, and fresh malt. Flavor yields piney, bitter hops plus a strong yeast note, tangy citrus and fresh malt. Texture delivers fair body, peppy fizz, and a woody hop finish. Come on, brewer, light my fire!
