The refreshing wheat beers of Belgium are some of our favorite to drink. We’re planning on making a few different versions this summer, with the first being a traditional take on the style: coriander and orange peel. The coriander is a California grown variety that we picked up during the Craft Brewers Conference in San Diego.

Bottle from Phishpond. Bright straw yellow pour with an ample white head but little lacing. Decent carbonation. Requisite light citrus and pepper nose and flavor, a bit mild but super refreshing. Lightly floral hopped, zingy. Thanks Travis.

A beautiful, refreshing summertime beer that has satisfied my palate multiple times over the summer. Hazy golden, nose is modest coriander and bananna notes. Flavors of balanced wheat, little orange peel and subtle spice finish.
