Sampled on 3/2/2012 at the Bruery Tasting Room. This saison pours a very cloudy yellow gold color from the tap. Medium to large sized white foamy head with good lacing and nice retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet, bretty, spicy and dry. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange and orange peel. Hops are herbal and earthy. Lively carbonation. Very dry. Brings out the spices a lot more. Interesting being able to sample all three versions of this beer. The amount of brett really changes the character of this beer. The bottle release is probably the best version. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.
