Having never tried commercial mead before, we went about making mead the same way we made beer: carbonated with very little sweetness. The first batch was horrible, completely disgusting. As stubborn as we are, we continued making mead again and again refusing to give up. Each batch was tweaked, the recipe tuned until we finally figured out our exact recipe that is as near perfection as mere mortals can make. So please sit back, relax, and take a load off - pop a cold mead and enjoy life.

Pours a luscious clear golden - no head, but this is mead. Honey aroma has subtle spice hints. Flavor is - oooooooooh, very sweet and yet not cloying, downright scrumptious! Not complex, but very tasty and accompanied by a nip of alcohol. Smooth texture is syrupy and firm. Of all the mead I’ve tried, this is the best.
