Bottle: Poured a medium amber color ale with super big foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma consists of sweet malt with some typical Belgian dry yeast. Taste of sweet malt with a dry Belgian yeast finish with no hops or spice really discernable. Body is quite filtrated with no alcohol being detectable. A bit weak in the flavour profile to make this really worthwhile but interesting nonetheless.

12.21.05 330ml bottle. Dark amber pour with lasting beige head. Lightly hazed. Aroma is a curious of dried fruits, orange, bitters (liquor), muddled but inviting savory spice, and cakey malts. Very flavorful and satisfying brew is sweet, full bodied, and finishing with a nutmeg/tree bark bitter bite. Plenty of sweet flavors like dates (huh, there’s dates in the stuff, no wonder), caramel, brown sugar -- but the sweetness is never overpowering. Buttery, but not in a diacetyl way, and spicy, but not overdone. The finish lingers with more dates, molasses, and an emerging foral hop zing. Nice.

disgusting dirty brown colour with almost no head, plumy and honeyish aroma, licorice, strong sweetness, heavy, sticky with a long licorice aftertaste

Dark copper colored body with a dense head. The aroma has prunes. I don’t know what dates are like, so I cannot comment. There is also dank caramel and some chocolate. There is also a note of allspice. The taste is definitely milk chocolate with some rich rasins. There is also some light cinnamon, but it is very very faint. The bosy is a little thin with plenty of carbonation. There also seems to be a little finish of over ripe bananas. Nicely done.

Pours with a cloudy orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet and slightly fruity with a slight flowery note and a touch of spice. LIght to medium bodied and smooth.
