Highly carbonated. That is the best description I can think of to start. A very dark brown/black beer with a light brown head. The aroma is coffee, chocolate and dark malt. The flavour is more of the same, but not as bitter as I thought it would be.

Pours out in a dark brown, almost black colur witha rich dense beige head. Rounded and dry aroma of roasted malts, yeast, tobacco, and coffee. Medium-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, tobacco, mint, and yeast. Smooth yet a bit chewy mouthfeel. Anise, salt, minerals, yeast and coffee in the the long well-rounded finish.

Bottled. Black (very dark brown/amber) colour with some slight head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, leather and some slight roast. Flavour is very sroasted malts with some fruity hints. Aftetrtaste goes more towards caramellishness.
