This recipe is modeled with the Italian dessert, "Affogato" in mind. "Affogato" literally means "drowned" and refers to the way a fresh scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream is drowned with a shot of fresh espresso to create this incredible dessert. We roast small batches of coffee for this beer fresh, in-house!

Pours clear amber with a thick and rather fine buff head. Aroma features quality coffee, zesty toasted malt, sweet vanilla and woody hops. Flavor yields quality coffee, vanilla, toasted malt and subtle hoppy notes. Texture provides decent body and perky fizz. Affogato that vanilla!
