Comes out of the tap dark chocolate brown with a substantial tan head. This is an IPA? Aroma is quite hoppy, but has an overtone of bourbon-soaked wood. Bourbon wood dominates the flavor, but let’s through lively woody hops as well as caramel and nutty hints. Texture is firm, if not too fizzy. An unusual IPA indeed!
