One often thinks of the act of dining at a restaurant as a communal, flavorful and memorable experience. It is no doubt all of these things, but for the very first time in Atlanta, it is becoming more than that. Born out of an unforeseen diagnosis of late stage cancer to one of Atlanta's influential chefs, Ryan Hidinger, Staplehouse Restaurant is serving a greater purpose beyond sharing great meals with the ones you love. By simply dining at Staplehouse Restaurant and by indulging in this delicious beer, guests are creating a sustainable source of funding for The Giving Kitchen (TGK), a 501c(3) that strives to provide charitable contributions to members of Atlanta's restaurant community facing unanticipated hardships of their own. The undeniable generosity shown to Chef Ryan and his family following his diagnosis inspired the formation of TGK as a way of "paying it forward" to an industry full of friends and even strangers who banded together to support one of their own. Dine and make an impact. And go ahead, have a second helping! For more information on TGK and Staplehouse Restaurant, visit www.thegivingkitchen.org or www.staplehouse.com.

Strong aroma is very hoppy, more evergreen than woody, with a definite hint of juniper. Pours a pretty clear dark amber with a fluffy pale buff head. Hoppy, resiny flavor has a juniper undertone and minimal bitterness. Smooth finish is firm and fizzy, going down nicely. You’ll want a 2econd helping of this - but you may have to call a cab.
