Når solen kildrer én om næsen til morgen, strejfer tankerne tit som det første ”morgenbrødet”. Siden kan man vælge at ta´ en tur til bageren efter en bid – eller man lister ned i kælderen efter en tår. Hvede er der i dem begge. Foruden hvede malt er vores ”Morgenbrød” bagt på pilsner malt og en anelse lys karamel malt. Og for at der ikke skulle gå for meget banan i det, valgtes en belgisk Trappist gær frem for den tyske ”Weiβbierhefe”. Den forholdsvis nye og ukendte humlesort ”Opal” giver et blomstret og citralt præg. Lige til at spise. Gæret med belgisk Trappistgær.

    On tap at Øl & Mat-festivalen, Oslo. Brewed with Opal as single hop. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Wheaty aroma with notes of Belgian ale yeast, mildly spicy. The flavour has a wheaty character, but also distinct notes of Opal hops. Quite nice.

    Draught@CPH BF 2011. Hazy golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, sloral notes, some mild notes of yeast and nectar as well. Flavour is fruity, floral and nectary along with some mild wheat and yeast as well.
