2,400 lbs of hops picked freshly in oregon and shipped to Minnesota immediately. We brewed this beer three days later. This is a hop forward beer, dry with subdued malt flavors.

Furnished by heybeerman earlier in the week, and it had no chance of sitting in my fridge for too long. Huge thanks Greg for this wonderful wet hop offering. Upfront grapefruit with lemon, apricot and pine needles that tickle the senses. Vibrant copper color, heavy carbonation, big fluffy head, and some of the best damn lacing I've ever seen. Medium bodied, sticky, with a fresh and pleasing bitterness. Juicy hops that are tangy and tantalizing followed by a faint malt back drop.

Canned on 10/12, enjoyed on 11/17. Not as fresh as the other reviews but I don't think it lost anything. Aroma is huge, jumps right out of the glass with tons of hoppy citrus fruit. A sticky resin sweetness, I like the sugar coated grapefruit description, right on. Very bitter but great flavor, you get the full on hops with some grass and earth on the aftertaste which is unique. I love Furious but I might love this more.

Canned on Monday, tasted on Saturday--it doesn't get much fresher. Fresh aroma of grapefruit and pine is simply unbelievable. Fresh hops do wonders with the mouthfeel, leaving a sticky, oily feeling that won't go away. Taste is almost as good as the aroma--the bitterness is so fresh, it almost pops in my mouth. A wonderful beer that I will look forward to each fall. 2013 edition brewed with Centennial and Cascade hops: this year's take is a huge letdown from previous years. Aroma and flavor are just not as vibrant as in past years.

deserving of it’s place on RB in the 99th percentile. i had the good fortune of having this beer 13 days after it was canned (17 days after the hops were picked!). what an awesome fresh grapefruit aroma. dark orange in color. smooth bodied. flavor is semi-sweet (85ibu) sugar coated grapefruit. bitter and balanced and one of the freshest beers i’ve ever had. 2010-close to a 4.5, 2011 4.3 or so...different hops i beleive. still awesome!
