http://www.santanbrewing.com/hopshock-ipa/ HopShock I.P.A. - Warm copper amber in color, SanTan brewers have re-defined this classic English Ale. An intense bitterness derived from the distinct citrus/pine flavor of Pacific Northwest & New Zealand Hops. A dry, crisp malt character & aggressive alcohol dominate our I.P.A. and make this bitter beer a hop-head’s passion! Pairs excellently with spicy foods and strong bleu cheeses. Style: American West Coast India Pale Ale Malt: Two Row Barley, Wheat, Caramel 80, Munich, Victory Hops: Columbus, (CTZ), Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Zythos Yeast: American Ale Color: 25º SRM Availability: On Draught, Cans and Kegs Year Round

Pours deep orange hued body with a thick foamy head, good retention and lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine and citrus hops, with some malts sneaking in. Malty taste up front followed by a strong citrus, piney hops with a nice bitter aftertaste. Overall it was pretty good, not an upper tier but good.
