2008 is the 25th anniversary of Summerskills Brewery and it is only appropriate for a celebratory beer to be brewed to mark this milestone in the Brewery’s history. Maintaining the Royal Naval connections, the name BRAVO ZULU was chosen as this naval signal means “Well Done” or “Give the recipient a pat on the back” and having achieved the 25 year milestone, it is a well deserved accolade. Red brown in colour with overtones of malt and hops in the taste, it is made from Devon malted Westminster barley, (grown by Mr. Brian Lethbridge of Stokenham) and English Hops, (the Goldings are grown by Mr. Redman of Stockton, Worcs. and the First Gold by Mr. Davies of Dormington, Hereford).

Cask (hand pump / beer engine) at the GBBF 2008. Deep amber colour, minimal head. Interesting fruity and spicy aroma. Fruity and herbal flavour, slightly spicy, quite nice.
