a little shy with the hops (as was the theme) even for a euro style ipa. pretty nice balance, but if i wanted a malty beer, I'd go with one of the many malty styles they offer. bitter finish, but little hopiness in the nose or initial flavor. the porter was hoppier. an average beer through and through.

Tasted on tap at the Bistro 2006 2xIPA festival. Deep hazy orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and floral. Nice hop bitterness, but more sweetness on this one. Very drinkable IPA. Nice balance. Slight touch of alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
