This concoction is very fitting of the Strangeways name… We crafted up a sour beer with your not so average ingredient, Black Hawaiian sea salt. This gose is salted with this gruff, onyx-colored salt that is formed after sea water is evaporated over lava rock. This beer is black in color from both the salt and a plethora of chocolate wheat used to give it a subtle roastiness. Hopped with Pacifica in the kettle and dosed with a ton of orange peel at whirlpool. Notes of chocolate oranges, tart lemons, and candied fruit.
