The next generation of Storm Brewing's award winning Belgian style sours. This crimson hued monster is aged at least a year in the same oak barrels that produced James` insane 12 year aged Lambic. And like the Lambic this beer is not for the faint of heart. Notes of oak, barnyard and goat complement its high ABV and puckering yet malty sourness. 11% ABV

On Tap at the Alibi Room. Wow. REally tart. Good funk, a really really good example of this style. Raspberry, definately not cherry at all though which Ive noticed alot of the other Flanders I have had (4). Maybe a lemon herbal tea aroma in wisps. Medium bodied, could use a bit more in that realm to stand up to the nearly brutal sour. Slight red wine aroma, lots of grapefruit. Nice (what a useless addition to the review).
