The 5th Anniversary from the Encore 20th Anniversary 22oz bottle four pack celebration pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a near white head. The aroma offers up floral hops, minty notes, a bit of spicy dankness, a malt note and then grapefruit and citrus zest. The taste delivers a big floral hop hit followed closely by a minty hop note and then a blend of grapefruit and spicy bitter dank hops. Toward the finish it picks up a pleasing earthy tea note that takes this to another level. A few more sips and the creamy mouth feel is noticed as well as how this is getting more malt sweetened floral hops and bitter grapefruit like after each successive sip. Solid.
