The elegant beer for connoisseurs who love a light, hoppy bitterness and a refined dry taste. Finest Saphir hops provide the typical lemony aroma and gently kiln-dried malt gives the beer its light color. Lean and vibrant - a first-class Pilsner beer.

Smokeless Joe (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
May 6, 2008
The beer pours a translucent golden colour into the glass with a thin, creamy white head. There is a great deal of effervescence. The aroma is grainy malt with hints of apple. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour is primarily grainy malt with a little hoppy bitterness.

Had a grassy hop character to it that I dug quite a bit more than the last pils. Also slight sweetness from the grain and corn(?) but a clean, crisp drink.

Nice, but very predictable with no standout qualities. Pours pale golden with thin head that disappears quickly with lightly grassy aroma. Crisp lightly fruity flavor.

Clear golden yellow with quickly dissapearing white foam head, somewhat lacing. Aroma is malty with some caramel. Taste is refershing, but malt dominating, low bitter. Decent bitter aftertaste. (Vienna 201211

Pours a very pale, clear straw gold color with a dense, long-lasting white head. The aroma has a good balance of spicy, herbal hops and bready malts with the scales tipping to the hops. The taste was mildly citrus and herbal hops up front that fold into the lightest, bready malt and finishes with a dry, bitter hoppiness. Spicy bitterness lingers through the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is very soft with the lightest crispness and a light body.

On tap at an lunch meeting with an architect…..stupid fancy boy thinks he knows beer…..why I otta. Ok I just drank three pints of this stuff in under an hour do to work client pressure, I’m not complaining I’m just gooned and will be napping the rest of the day. Hick. All Blacks vs. Springboks in tri-nation cup play, All Blacks winning 17-7 at the 32 min mark. Beer looks like a beer from a commercial perfect gold, white cap, condensation dripping off glass. Beer taste / aroma are basically identical, wet hay, fresh apple cider, low volumes of skunk, more grass, herbalish hops, very carbonated. Christ after my second pint I’m belching constantly, after third pint feeling discomfort. Uggggggg……….need to let out Barney style burp, client won’t shut the F-up about vapor barriers……WHO GIVES A FUCK. Whatever good enough beer to drink especially at the price of me not paying and this was better than I remember from way back in the day but I see no reason to ever revisit this beer again. Wholly crap fancy pant Architect just ordered a fourth for himself, All Blacks continue to dominate game. Someone please tell me why Rugby is not more popular?!?!?!? So fast so violent………………………………………………………BLEEEEEEEEEEEEETCHHHHH.

Sampled on 7/17/2011. This pilsner pours a light yellow gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grainy, grassy and herbal. A light to medium bodied Pilsner. The malts are grainy and grassy. The hops are herbal and slightly spicy. Lively very active carbonation. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. Perhaps a touch of cardboard in there as well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

A crystalline yellow colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time. It settles eventually into lumps of suds and splotches of film. Simple malt and citric-grassy hops in the aroma and flavor. Crisp and refreshing.

It pours a light yellow-gold with thick white head and copious lace. An aroma of barley malts, hops, lemon/citrus, some sourness, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, although thin. Flavors of rich malts, hops, lemon/citrus, tart, and mild spiciness. It's good, although not impressive.

16.9oz bottle -
Aroma - nice aroma...hay, lightly lemony...kinda reminded me of smelling pledge after it’s been sprayed....strong notes of grain
Appearance - light golden body, crystal clear, with a quickly dissipating bright white head
Taste - nice note of hay and corn, kinda musty tasting
Overall - Quite refreshing and a nice way to kick of Celtics vs. Lakers. -
