Wow this one surprised me. Poured a nice golden color with small head and good lacing. Aroma was of citrus, vanilla, banana and yeast. Taste was good much the same, the yeast jumped out with a citrus finish to it. Good beer.

Poured a golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, coriander, citrus fruits, yeast, light banana, and faint pepper. Taste of yeast, candy sugar, black pepper, spices, and some tart citrus in the background. Stewarts, you don’t make many good beers, so when someone wants to help you promote one of your better ones, you should really take their hint...

Poured a usual mostly clear golden color, lots of carbonation, some but not an overly impressive head. The lacing was ok, not impressive. This beer was served way too cold, but light fruits (apples, peaches, and white grapes) were detectable in the flavor from the get go (aroma was weak). As this one warmed, the fruits meshed nicely into the malt profile (apparently this batch was about 9.X ABV). Hops were nicely done and the warming to about 55F or so allowed the Saaz pilsner hops to inflence the aftertaste with a very slight touch of grass. One of the brewers spent some time talking about the beer and this one is most accurately classified as a Belgian Strong Pale Ale (not a true tripel). Mouthfeel was slightly syrup-like and the finish was not assertively hopped (like the finest of tripels), but definitely adequately so.

A very good Belgian trippel...tastes authentic. Beer poured a tad darker than other trippels I've had with smallish head. Taste was fruity and light, mouthfeel was nice and full. Little in the way of hops present. Not quite Chimay White or La Fin du Monde, but still really good.
