Nothing good has ever come out of Hamilton Ontario. This beer is among the many bad things that have come out of there. A very watery beer with grainy vomity smell. This is certainly a drainpour candidate. If you are trying this beer to check it off your list - avoid the 950ml cans!

One of the cheaper lagers from Lakeport. Pours a rich golden colour with a very small head. The carbonation is lively and the nose is grainy with malt. As for the taste, it starts off grainy, has a slight bitter in the middle and then finishes smooth with some more grain malt. I also found some notes of apples in the finish and aftertaste (which is what I liked in the off-the-market Edelbrau from Northern Brewery). Really not as bad as it looks.

really the overall is 3.5. this is watery macro swill that seems american, but it's not bad. ironically, the water keeps it from being offensive as it warms up, which is good as the beer is meant to be swilled when partying outdoors.

Better than expected for the cheap price. Steeler is a typical, inexpensive lager.
