A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

I had this beer at the Raddison Blu (Royal) in Copenhagen Denmark. This beer was really sweet with caramel. Not my favorite. It wasn't terrible but if I am resigned to the cheaper beers, I'll go with a Tuborg.

Not much foam, but it's stable. Nice dark brownish color. Strong caramel and roasted grain in the aroma. Taste is maybe a bit bitter, but it's really refreshing and amazing dark beer :)

Dark red colour, not that big head. Weird metallic aroma with hints of licorace. Flavour is bready with hints of smoke. Aftertaste is caramellish but bitter. Pleasant dunkel.

(330 ml bottle, in Sweden. Later also available in Norway). Beautiful ruby colour, moderate head. Malty sweet aroma with hints of oak. Mellow flavour - a tad too sweet in my book. Low bitterness. Not a bad beer, but it lacks "bite".
