Pours a clean golden colour with a beautiful frothy off-white head that stays quite long for a lager, with thick sticky lace. Nice fresh aromas of the hop creating orange notes with light spices (ginger). The hop is still present in the taste, but a little milder. Enough though to cover the sorghum which does not taste good usually in these gluten-free beers. So, in this style, I would say this one is well-done, and above average. In the same good tops with the Glutenberg ones.

The beer pours a very translucent reddish gold with absolutely no head. The aroma is citrus, hops, grains, and spices. The mouthfeel is weak bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is spicy, almost gingery, with some hops and earthiness. Aside from the lack of head and weak body, it was an easy drinking beer. I wouldn't want more than a couple at a sitting hour as the gingeriness would get to me. I have to agree with slowrunner77 however as I can get Chimay Blue for less money (and it tastes a LOT better).

Aroma is like dry grass or straw and not too strong. It pours a clear, wan yellow with an off-white head of average thickness and not too persistent. Flavor is malty with an overtone of dry grass, not too hot but not quite a drain-pour. Texture is smooth and a little fizzy, just enough to let you know this is beer.

meh...i hope it doesn't come to this one day. kind of a premium price for a run of the mill gluten free beer. darkish yellow...cereal tpe grainy aroma and taste, a hint of sweetness (sorgum?) and some grassy hops. pretty standard beer...not worth the price.

Aroma of skunk and a funk that I can only describe as old, well worn shoes after they had gotten wet, pretty nasty. Thankfully the aroma didn't translate over into the taste. Flavors of skunk, grain, and grassy hops. Pale yellow body, the cap was thin and fizzy, overall the aroma ruined it for me, but the rest was alright.

It pours a light golden with almost no white head and some lacing. An aroma of sorgham malts, citrus and some spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of sorgham malts, light hops, citrus, and spices. Very good.

And now for something completely different! Sorgham Beer. Interesting almost 0 head, very mild carbonation. Somewhat sweet, with a touch of molasses flavor. Rather smooth mouth feel, a beer that is something different, would purchase again.

have to call it like I taste it, and this beer tasted pretty good to me. The Amarillo hops were easy to pick up in the aroma, the clean malt profile really make it easy to enjoy and the brisk hop bitterness reminded me of a really fresh pilsener. A sorghum beer that is head and shoulders above the others. Bottle was labeled as Sorghum Beer, not G-Free.

Sampled on 10/30/2009. This sorghum beer pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foam head. The aroma is corn, herbal and spices. A medium to full bodied sorghum beer. The malts are, wait there are no malts, grainy and starchy. The hops are herbal and spicy. Kind of largerish. This one is not doing much for me. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours out in a clear golden colour with a low white foam. Dusty orangey aroma. Light-bodied with notes of dust, soap, dough and oranges. Medium-bitter finish of grass and oranges with doughy undertones.
