Pours clear, bubbly topaz with a thick and fairly persistent ivory head. Aroma yields seriously piney hops plus grapefruit, fresh malt, and a hint of orange. Flavor bursts with piney and slightly bitter hops, grapefruit and orange, tropical and malty tones for one powerful DIPA. A floral/herbal hint comes through on the back end. Texture features lively fizz and smooth, firm body leading to a satisfyingly hoppy and citrus finish. Powerful, not paradoxical.
