It was a stout... and that's the most forgiving thing I can say. Roasted malt aroma that was only so-so with a dark brown to balck color. Weak and thin to the pallette with none of the vetlety smoothness that I expect in a stout. Flavor was flat with only a mere hint at roasted malt and less chocolate than a single M&M.
