Somewhat opaque golden yellow, white lacing lasting foam. Quite bitter aroma, some grass/hay notes. Likewise strong bitter taste and aftertaste, little room for anything else. (Velp 201409)

On a short trip to Idaho Falls, I asked what was local and good and I was pointed to this. A soapy looking yellow beer with a soapy resin smell. Neither of which is bad. Flavor is bad though, tinny, thin, not good. That and its a yellow beer, just can't work with this one. Slight burn at the end, decent mouthfeel, still a failure.

12 oz can. Pours clear orange copper with a medium pillowy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet tropical fruits and dank hops and some pepper.
The flavor is a little sweet fruit with some dank earthy hops and a big charred lightly metallic bitterness that lingers. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it could have been a decent dank IPA, but I couldn't get past overwhelming charred metallic bitterness in the finish.
