I had Sly Fox Burns Scottish Ale on cask at the Grey Lodge as part of their Firkin event. It poured a nice magohany colored body. The taste was ok. It had sweet notes blended with a light toasted flavor. Overall I was a little disappointed by this beer. Solid but not great.

This one really didnt impress me too much. It was pretty weak on all fronts. A dark brown appearance with some nutmeg in the flavor. Watery. Next.....

Tap @ brewery. Clear copper with medium sized. head. I always get excited when I see a scotch ale on tap at a brewpub and this time was no exception. Taste is malty but the body is way too thin. Flavor has a slight toastiness but no real peat flavor. Worth taking a pass on this one and trying one of their better offerings.

This poured a very nice copper color with a small off white head. Aroma? where was it, very, very mild, malty, nutty aroma. Sweet malty taste, some toasted nut, overall this was not anyhing special. Whereas, I look for smoke in a Scottish, and this did not have any.
