Cask ales (or "real ales") are a thing of beauty. Cask ales are traditional British way of making and serving beer. They are served at cellar temperature - about 12 degrees C - and with less carbonation. This allows the flavors to really shine. The cask is an American IOA dry hopped with Citra hops. Cheers!

Pours a hazy, barely translucent dark apricot with a fairly thick pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has malty and subtle fruity underpinnings. Woody hops dominate the flavor, but let malt, fruity, and resin tones share the stage. Texture is smooth and quite firm, if not fizzy - but cask ales are that way. Get real and enjoy a crater.
