500 ml bottle, from SuperBest Hjørring. ABV is 7.5%. Very dark brown colour, huge beige head. Strong aroma of malts with hints of caramel, also distinct fruity and red wine vinegary notes. Infected? The flavour is malty, fruity and very sweet, with loads of caramel, and the moderate hops are only noticeable in the aftertaste. Too sweet, possibly slightly infected, and not really something I’d buy again.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Deep ruby colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is leathery, fruity, sweet malty as well as mild notes of red berries. Flavour is bready, red berries, some slight yeast and mild earthyness as well. Quite nice doppelbock.
